Monday Food Pickup Update

Dear Parents/Guardians:

Effective September 1, 2020, the United States Department of Agriculture in partnership with the Ohio Department of Education has extended the free lunch program for all students through December 31, 2020. Any student who purchased a lunch prior to this date will receive a credit to their lunch account.

Students may purchase additional items (such as milk, entree, etc.) at regular cost.

Due to Mondays being a remote learning day for all students of the district, there will be food pickups on Mondays only at Duncan Falls Elementary, Philo Junior High, and Roseville Elementary Schools from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. in addition to the five locations listed below.

There are 5 locations throughout the district where buses that have Wi-Fi hotspots installed on them and are able to broadcast Wi-Fi up to 100 ft. from the bus will be parked to allow for internet access from 10 a.m. to 12 noon:

  • Church of God in Gaysport
  • Upper campground at Blue Rock State Park
  • Tree of Life Church on Chandlersville Road
  • Old D&D Marina on Old River Road
  • Parkview Arms Apartments in Roseville

If your student is participating in remote learning, a parent or guardian may pick up 5 days’ worth of meals for each student. Meals must be picked up by parents/guardians. If you have children at different buildings in the district, you may pick up at any location listed above for all your students.
