First, the Philo Boys Basketball Team is sponsoring “Donkey Basketball” on November 15th, at 7:00 p.m. in the “Power Plant”. Doors will open at 6:00. All tickets are $6 in advance, and $8 at the door. Tickets are being sold at all Franklin Local Schools and Citizens National Bank in Duncan Falls. Free donkey rides will be provided during intermission for all children 12 years of age and under and must be accompanied by a paid parent or guardian.

Secondly, the Philo Boys Basketball Team is holding an Alumni Game/Meet the Team Night on November 22nd at 7:00 inside the “Power Plant”. Doors will open at 6:00 p.m. with a $2 entry fee for all spectators. Any Philo alum is invited to participate in the game. The cost is $20. Please contact Coach Haberfield at 740-359-8815 for more information.

Now, for the final announcement. Philo Varsity Football will play Indian Valley at Meadowbrook High School Friday night at 7:30. Gates will open at 6:00. Tickets will be on sale in the Philo High school office Thursday until 3:30. Tickets will also be on sale Friday from 8:00 to 2:00 at the high school. Good luck to the Electrics and dress warm.

Philo Youth Wrestling sign-ups are tomorrow night, Tuesday, November 7th from 5:30-7:30 in front of the library at the Duncan Falls Elementary School. The cost is $40 for the first child and $20 for each additional child. Sign-ups will remain open during the first week of practice. The last date to sign up will be Thursday, November 16th. Practices begin on November 13th at 5:30 p.m. in the Duncan Falls Elementary School cafeteria. Please contact Troy Swartz at 740-221-6889 with any questions.

Tickets for the varsity football playoff game between Philo and St. Clairsville be sold at Philo High School on Wednesday, November 1st through Friday, November 3rd at 2:15. Presale tickets are $8.00. Tickets at the gate will cost $9.00. Ages 6 and up will need to purchase tickets.Friday’s game against St Clairsville will start at 7:30 p.m. with the gates opening at 5:30.Parking at the game will cost $3.00.There will be a bonfire/pep rally Thursday, November 2nd at the locker room at 6:30 p.m. for all students and community members. Philo High School’s Student Council is having Lue La Roe fundraiser this Friday night during the home football game with John Glenn.  Shop Lue La Roe at the game and help support Philo High School’s Student Council.  Go Electrics!

The Philo High School cheerleaders will host a mini cheerleading clinic at Duncan Falls Elementary and Roseville Elementary School on September 12, 13, and 14th from 4-6pm for girls in pre-K through 6th grade. All participants must be at least 4 years old. The girls will perform with the cheerleaders during the pregame of the September 15th game against John Glenn. The cost is $25 per participant. Please turn in the registration form and money to your respective school and see you Tuesday! Go Philo!

The Philo High School drama department presents the classic musical comedy guys and dolls this Friday and Saturday night in the high school auditorium doors open at 6:30 PM with the show starting at 7 PM tickets are $10 for adults and seven dollars for seniors and students thanks for supporting the arts at Franklin Local.
