Philo High School Clothes Bin

A clothes bin has been placed in the parking lot at Philo High School. Clothes BinĀ® Textile Recycling program offers schools and organizations an opportunity to increase educational awareness of textile recycling and offers convenience to students, parents and neighbors who have clothing, shoes and leftover jackets that are no longer needed, wanted or used through the FREE Bin program. Clothes BinĀ® Textile Recycling program is able to reuse, resell and recycle 100% of all collections through our company network partners. Items lightly used are reused for thrift store inventory. Items such as shoes that are no longer able to be re-sold are ground up for playground material, and clothing with holes/stains are converted to wiper rags.

85% of textile waste ends up in landfills occupying unnecessary landfill space, which equates to an astounding 22 BILLION POUNDS+ of unnecessary dumping of clothes, shoes and textiles into landfills each year. Philo High School wants to help with this issue. Please consider donating used and unwanted clothing
