Remind Communications System
The district’s mass notification automated calling system may be used for school closures and emergencies. This method of contacting families relies on up-to-date emergency phone numbers for each student. You will recieve messages on your registered number for:
- In the event of early morning school cancellation due to inclement weather.
- If school closes during the school day or is dismissed early.
- In the event of a school-wide or district-wide emergency.
Social Media, Radio, Print, and TV
We publish alerts and notifications on the Franklin Local School District home page and on our district Twitter (@FranklinLocal).
Media outlets are also notified of any school closing or emergency.
